The Transport and Commercial Manager RoleJoin us as our Transport & Commercial Manager! Heading up our friendly and busy team based in Bournemouth. You’ll oversee the day to day operation of Daish’s Coaches, taking full responsibility for the committed team in our office as well as our 30+ drivers. You’ll have full P&L responsibility for Daish’s Coaches and will be responsible for both vehicle and driver compliance. The role is full time and will include weekend and early evening working, shared between the office management on a rota basis. You’ll be reporting directly to Daish’s Commercial Director and working closely with the wider group management including our hotel managers. The role is predominately office based in Bournemouth, however travel to our hotels and third party garages will also be required. Responsibilities You’ll be fully responsible for the operation of Daish’s Coaches which includes: Driver complianceCoach Vehicle ComplianceOverview of driver scheduling and management of the logistics managerMaintenance scheduling with third party workshops and management of Fleet Manager. Fuel buyingOverview of driver scheduling and driver compliance Full P&L responsibility and close monitoring and management of budgetsEnsuring all aspects of the coaching operation confirm to all relevant legislations and maintain all documentation and systems required to fulfil ‘O’ license requirements.Maintaining process of procedures for driver management including all insurance and disciplinary requirements. Dealing with Insurance claimsEnsuring driver training is up to dateIntroducing new and improving existing company policy documents and risk assessments.
