Town Hall160 Whitechapel RoadLONDONE1 1BJWe are looking for an experienced and motivated Transformation Business Analyst to join our team on a permanent contract.Transformation in Tower Hamlets is at a genuinely exciting stage. We have a clear vision for transforming the council using partnerships, a focus on outcomes and digital innovation. There is lots to do, and a real desire for change. The Corporate Strategy and Transformation is at the heart of this change working on a wide range of projects across the council covering customer channel shift, redesign of frontline services, back office support functions and implementation of new digital solutions. A key part of our role is to ensure that change is effectively implemented and co-ordinated across the council.Role PurposeAs a Business Analyst, you will be responsible for analysing and evaluating business systems, understanding the needs and objectives of our business, and developing systems solutions to meet those needs. You will be expected to identify and document system requirements, analyse user needs, design solutions, and develop processes to support system implementation. Additionally, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining technical documentation, providing user training, and assisting with system maintenance and upgrades.To be successful in this role, you should have a strong understanding of business requirements, system design and development, and process mapping. You should also have excellent problem-solving skills, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.Key ResponsibilitiesYou will lead on the development and delivery of a business analysis to support corporate transformation across the council. You will support the effective delivery of transformation activities and work on distinct pieces of business analysis within various projects and programmes. The post holder will undertake work at all stages of the project lifecycle and across the full range of council functions.You will be working multiple stakeholders in a complex environment. You will undertake work of a complex nature working across a variety of different disciplines at both corporate and service level. This will involve different types of analysis ranging from operating models, organisational designs, financial modelling, process re-engineering and information gathering.RequirementsYou will have advanced knowledge of business analysis techniques and significant experience of their application.
