Talent84 Ltd have a Permanent, Full-Time vacancy for a Transport/Logistics Planner to work for an established logistics provider at theirsite in Newark.
Hours of work are:
Mon - Fri
3.00 pm
1.00 am (twilight shift)
Pay Rate:
£33,080 per annum
Job Purpose
To execute a logistics plan that ensures all products reach their destination safely, securely and within time scales agreed.
Duties are varied and will include:
Being a point of contact for customers
Managing a team of drivers
Organising schedules and routes
Ensuring vehicle checks are completed, that all vehicles are safe and meet legal requirements.
Ensuring that the service and maintenance plan for the vehicles is up to date and followed.
Ensuring all compliance is adhered to including vehicle weights and driver hours.
To work within budgets set and ensure that all resources aremaximised.
