We are looking for a Training Team Leader to provide management support to the instructor team, ensure continuous development through delivery of upskilling, mentoring and one to one support.The Team Leader will provide operational support to the South training team, maintain good working relationships with the LSM's for their training centre portfolio and work with the Head of External Training to drive business efficiencies ad revenue growth.In return you will receive a Competitive salary, company car & fuel card, 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays, inclusion in the Westfield Health Cash Plan, Auto Enrolment Pension scheme and Lifestyle benefits - discounts on selected high street stores.Main Duties include:Conduct regular one2one's, appraisals and IQA's in line with HR policy and skills matrixMaintain good working relationships with our location services managers, providing regular training centre audits and ensuring good practises are maintainedPerform monthly desk top audits in line accrediting body standardsAttend monthly PRM meetings and present team performanceReport and measure team & individual performance in line with business KPI'sHost a monthly team meeting to present business updates, key focus areas and updatesDeliver training courses to delegates across the region with extensive travel across multiple sitesBe an ambassador for quality health and safety including the well-being of customer where requiredEnsure all courses are carried out to the criteria required by external awarding bodiesDrive compliance of paperwork as required by external awarding bodies and upload to the governing body once the course has been completedResponsible for providing training at the required standards of the business and external bodiesDirect any leads to relevant sales teamsPrepare and deliver training as required.Assist with any formal audits / verification as required.Assist with planning and arrangements as required.Undertake training assessments and complete documentation, within the relevant service level agreementMaintain up to date and easily accessible training recordsCompile and complete a record demonstrating a minimum of 30 hours Continuing Professional DevelopmentAs Training Team Leader you will be:Motivational LeaderPeople management skillsExperience with upskilling and mentoringGood problem solverPassion to drive activity and a keen eye for business improvementsTeacher / trainer the trainer certificate such as award in education and trainingTrainer the Trainer certificate in the courses that are being deliveredAssessor certificate (desirable)Familiarity with traditional and modern training methods (mentoring, coaching, on-the-job or in classroom training, e-learning, workshops, simulations etc)Excellent communication and leadership skillsAbility to plan, multi-task and manage time effectivelyIPAF Instructor qualificationDriving LicenceFirst Aid CertificateExcellent communication skillsFlexible with travelExcellent presentation skills
