Help get better trained personnel to the front line fasterThe Training Solution Architect will work within a new Training Transformation process to shape the solutions and ensure valuable products are created for the Royal Navy. They will coordinate the input from Educators, Curriculum Specialists, Training Designers, VLE specialists, infrastructure, technology, and synthetic training solutions to achieve our ambition to get better trained people, to the frontline faster.This is a hybrid role working between home and HMS Collingwood, Fareham on average 2/3 days a week.Job title:Training Solution ArchitectJob Description:What you will be doing:Motivating and inspiring teams to deliver exciting and achievable transformative solutions within trainingSupporting acceleration through the Training Transformation process and delivering outcomes at pace via an Agile processEnsuring that the solutions presented to the Product Owner are coherent, ambitious and transformative.Ensuring all elements of Training Transformation meets the needs of the educators and trainees, producing transformed, learner centric and digitally enabled trainingEstablishing the priorities and areas of focus for training improvement with the Training Delivery Unit Product Owner and the EducatorsWhat we’re looking for:Proven experience as a Solutions Architect preparing, presenting and delivering solutions to clients.A proven track record of developing complex solutionsExperience of managing projects from start to finishAbility to Lead Innovation and ChangeAny experience of working in an agile environment would be beneficialMust be able to go through UK SC clearanceAbout Project SelborneProject Selborne is a wide scale, 12 year transformation of Royal Navy Training. The contract worth GBP 1 billion was awarded in December 2020 to a consortium led by Capita to deliver and modernise training for the RN. The consortia of partners known as Team Fisher includes Raytheon UK, Fujitsu and University of Lincoln together with 14 other UK-based suppliers.Our ‘one team’ philosophy is about collaboration and openness, key to the success of this programme.
