The role
The Training Manager is a pivotal role in Financial Services to ensure our business remains competitive compliant and adaptable in an ever evolving industry landscape .
Reporting to the Head of Competence and First Line Risk this role requires a deep understanding of financial services products, regulatory requirements and industry best practices to ensure that all staff are adequately trained to perform their job duties in compliance with relevant regulations and standards set by the FCA.

What will you do as a FS Training Manager at N Brown?

Main responsibilities will be lead the design, development and implementation of learning initiatives along with providing comprehensive reporting to evidence the successful delivery of training across Financial Services.
This role requires a blend of agile learning design expertise, change management knowledge, data analysis and reporting skills along with strong organisational and leadership skills to ensure learning objectives are aligned with the organisational goals.

Training Programme Development

Lead training needs analysis and action planning working in collaboration with senior leader
Designing and implementing training curricula, modules and material that address competence needs, regulatory requirements and soft skills development
Utilise a variety of training methodologies include classroom training, online learning and on the job training to cater for diverse learning styles and preferences.

Implementation and Delivery

Co ordinate the delivery of training programmes across Financial Services ensuring alignment with the business strategic objectives
Facilitate training sessions for colleagues using a variety of training methodologies to maximise learning outcomes
Monitor training delivery and participant feedback making adjustments as necessary to maximise effectiveness
Provide learning experiences that develops the leadership, behavioural and technical skills of the business

Compliance and Regulatory training

Stay informed of regulatory changes impacting the Financial Services industry
Develop and deliver in conjunction with the Compliance team compliance training to ensure all colleagues understand and adhere to regulatory requirements
Maintain and report on training records in accordance with the Training and Competence framework

MI and Reporting

Conduct regular evaluations and assessments to measure training outcomes and identify areas of improvement and adjust training strategies accordingly
Monitor completion of Mandatory training across the Financial Services estate to ensure it is in line with Training and Competence requirements
Establish KPIs to measure the effectiveness of training initiative
Track CPD activities

Continuous Personal Development
