Trainer Assessor – Forest and ArboriculturePart time, 0.6FTE, 22.2 hours per week, 52 weeks per year£29,403 - £31,350 per annum pro rataThis is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to share their knowledge and skills with students, helping them to maximize their potential and progress towards future study and/or employment whilst also growing the vocational area within the college.The successful candidate is likely to be professionally qualified in the subject area with relevant industry experience and have a real passion for the subject, the vocation and for inspiring young people to reach their potential.Experience of training and/or assessment would of course be a real asset, but we are happy to mentor and support the successful applicant; (including free access to formally recognised teaching and assessing qualifications) to ensure that practice is highly effective.The role is likely to include training and assessing 16–18-year-old students and adults, working alongside another member of staff and will be based in our dedicated land-based campus at Easton College in the village of Easton, close to Norwich and main transport routes of the A47 and A11.To apply please click the 'apply' button.Closing date: Thursday 18 April 2024 at MidnightAs a College we are required to undertake various Safer Recruitment checks as set out within the guidance from the Department for Education Keeping Child Safe in Education. Therefore, a new one must be completed with City College Norwich.
