Traffic Management Operatives Required!!
Vocation Recruitment require all level of TM Operatives for our client based in Lincoln.
Are you passionate about ensuring the smooth flow of traffic and promoting road safety Vocation Recruitment are seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Traffic Management Operatives. As a Traffic Management Operative, you will play a crucial role in coordinating and implementing traffic control measures across various locations in the United Kingdom.
Responsibilities:
* Assist in the planning and execution of traffic management schemes, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and guidelines.
* Set up and maintain temporary traffic management systems, including traffic cones, signs, barriers, and diversions.
* Monitor traffic flow and implement necessary measures to alleviate congestion and maintain road safety.
* Safely direct traffic, pedestrians, and vehicles during roadworks, incidents, or events.
* Work collaboratively with other team members, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure effective traffic management operations.
* Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of traffic management equipment and report any issues or faults.
* Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times and promote a safe working environment.
* Respond promptly to emergency situations and assist emergency services when required.
* Keep accurate records and documentation related to traffic management activities.
Requirements:
* All levels required - 12D / 12 AB / TTMBC, T1 T2, M1 M2, M5
* PPE (Provided for you if you do not already have this)
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively interact with the public, colleagues, and stakeholders.
* Physical fitness and the ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
* A valid UK driving license with NO current bans and 6 points or less is required.
* Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, days / nights and public holidays.
* Basic knowledge of health and safety procedures and a commitment to promoting a safe working environment.
* Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
