Trainee to Semi-Senior Accountant

A large regional firm of accountants based in Milton Keynes, are looking to hire an Accounts Trainee to Semi-Senior accountant, that will have the opportunity to be involved in audit-based work. The level of the role in terms of job title and salary are open, the firm can create the job to suit the right person and pay accordingly.

Job Overview:

• Planning – ensure the client is offered pre-year-end tax planning


• Completion – ensure the client receives a consistent high level of service and that annual accounts are completed efficiently


• Finalisation & Submission – ensure the final accounts are produced to a consistent high standard and are signed and submitted correctly


• Meet with the client to review accounts, offer advice and promote other products and services on an annual basis (or more frequently if required)


• Completing VAT returns


• Completing Personal Tax 


• Support the integration of new clients


• Ensure audit work is produced to a consistent high standard for review by your manager

Requirements:

• Studying AAT, ACA, ACCA or qualified/part-qualified in any qualification


• Hold a valid Driving Licence
