Are you an aspiring Teaching Assistant looking for a way in and don’t know where to start? Maybe you have had experience in the past but looking to get back into education and develop your skills further?

If this applies to you then working with Vision for Education is for you! We provide individuals a chance to experience the role of a Teaching assistant through our NTAP (National Teaching Assistant Programme).

The programme involves free online training with modules such as; Safeguarding, Behaviour management, Introduction to Teaching Assistants and working with children with SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities). Once you have completed your online training you will then participate in a paid in-school placement of 5 days, this is to make sure you are comfortable in a school environment and its great to gain the necessary skills needed to be a teaching assistant!

We are looking for someone with:

• A passion to work in education.
• Varying levels of experience. Classroom-based or specific school-related experience is not essential.
• A commitment to undertake virtual training sessions.
• Availability to complete a paid placement in a school.
• Readiness to start working as a TA with us on a completion of the scheme.
