Job Title: Graduate Trainee Teacher in Physics or Chemistry

Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic graduate to join the team of a 'Good' Secondary School in Bexley with the view to train as a Teacher of Science with a Physics or Chemistry specialism. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the classroom before enrolling onto the Teaching Apprenticeship Programme through e-Qualitas in September. 

Key Responsibilities:


  • Support experienced teachers in delivering high-quality lessons in Science.
  • Assist with planning and preparation of engaging and interactive teaching materials.
  • Provide one-to-one support to students who require additional assistance.
  • Participate in training sessions and workshops to develop teaching skills and pedagogical knowledge.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create a positive learning environment conducive to academic success.

Requirements:


  • A degree in Physics or Chemistry (or closely related field) from a reputable university.
  • Strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for science education.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and willingness to learn.
