Trainee Quantity Surveyor

The right individual will ideally possess the following -
Strong contracting background with previous experience quantity surveying experience of 1 year plus
Ability to use own initiative as well as working effectively as part of a team.
Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise own workload.
First rate communication skills both written and verbal.
Excellent attention to detail.
Working experience of presenting technical and complex information.
Strong leadership skills.
Self-motivated to succeed in both individual and team set tasks.

Generating Applications for Payment (Valuations).
Pricing Variations & additional work.
Checking fortnightly Sub-Contractor labour invoices. Checking Sub-Contracts.
Quantifying work using our onscreen measuring software. Liaising with our Project Managers & visiting our live projects.
Updating Budgets, providing our Board with real time project financial reports.
