Salary: up to £60,000 per annum

Trainee Plant Operator / Driver Role

As a Vac-Ex Plant Operator, you will be required to provide service trenches, perimeter digs, as well as bespoke access solutions across a range of construction tasks. Vac-Ex have a high priority on health & safety and this is a key mindset for all our plant operators.

The role:

• You will be required to drive a 32 tonne unit (vacuum excavation unit)
• UK-wide travel including working away from home on a regular basis
• This is NOT just a driving position; however, you will be trained to operate the excavation plant to a high standard.
• Reports to the Operations Team

Trainee Plant Operator / Driver Requirements & Skills:

• You must hold a minimum class 2 HGV licence
• Proactive and flexible attitude with an ability to problem solve is essential
• CSCS card would be advantageous but not essential as training will be provided for the right candidate
• Experience in driving left hand drive vehicles would also be advantageous, along with towing experience but this is not essential
• All weather working on construction sites and occasional night work involved
