We are working in partnership with a highly successful and well-respected client in Gloucester, who are recruiting for a Trainee Parts Advisor to join their team.

You will be ensuring the workshop and customers’ needs and requirements for parts are met.

Role: Trainee Parts Advisor

Salary – £13,312 - £17,888

Hours – 9.00am – 6.00pm

Location – Gloucester

Responsibilities of the Trainee Parts Advisor:


  • This will be achieved by maintaining stock levels against delivery notes and storing parts in correct places.
  • Pre-picking parts for the workshop to ensure smooth flow of jobs.
  • Processing payments and invoices for customers
  • Dealing with walk in customers ensuring these are managed to a high standard throughout to exceed the customer expectations.

Requirements of the Trainee Parts Advisor:


  • You will have excellent communication skills and work well within a team environment. Literacy and numeracy skills are essential.
  • good administrative and organisational skills and the ability to remain calm when working under pressure.
  • A knowledge of the Automotive industry is preferred but not essential.
