Closes: May 31, 2024Full-time permanentMarston, Grantham, Lincolnshire We are currently looking to recruit a Trainee Multi Utility Sales Executive to work within our Sales/Design Department dealing with operational administration duties to aid the success of the business.Duties include;Developing customer relationships and increase sales within the businessTo support the business Development Managers with devising and executing our sales & marketing plans/tactics in order to expand the MU business year on yearAssessment & clarification of customer requirementsEnsure all Harlaxton Engineering Services procedures are followedTo assist in collating all necessary scheme information and produce pre-tender design risk assessmentsTo assist in recording all plans and documents within the internal systems and ensure current versions are always usedTo assist the design team on producing scheme designs based on the actual sale requirementsTo advise the Business Development Director/Managers of progress of projects through design/tendering phase and to manage the transition of projects to handover with OperationsTo produce accurate, quality, clear & concise quotations to the customer based on their requirements and honest assumptionGeneral administrative duties such as processing and management of paperworkTo support the Business Development Managers in ensuring that all Health & Safety and environmental legislation are being adhered toCarry out any other duties as required by the Business Development Director & wider Harlaxton Engineering Services management team.Act in the best interests of the company at all times to promote and expand the business whilst providing the highest customer service and satisfactionProvide weekly reports on visits, sales activity, leads, quotations submitted along with orders receivedTo be flexible in approach and to develop new ideas/methods in order that the business may constantly evolveThe successful candidate will ideally;Have previous sales and administration experienceHave strong interpersonal skills and be happy to liaise with external and internal clients and business partnersBe confident to use your own initiativeBe happy to work on your own or in a team environmentGood knowledge of Microsoft software – excel, word, outlookHave good attention to detail and able to follow proceduresHave a ‘can do’ approach and enjoy problem solvingBe conscientious with strong customer service skillsThe salary for this position is negotiable dependent upon experience. Other benefits include pension, private healthcare and free parking.Hours are Mon-Friday 8.30 – 5.00 although some flexibility can be offered with hours.For more information, please email #####
