Trainee Multi trader

Blocktech MEP are looking on behalf of their client for a trainee Multi trader.

The ideal candidate will have already had some further education towards a career or trade in Construction and Maintenance or had some experience in this type of work.

The client is a small construction and maintenance company who deliver services to both residential clients and commercial clients, like Hospitals and schools. Your role will be to assist the team in the delivery of various reactive and pre planned maintenance.

Necessary Requirements or attributes for the successful candidate:

• A full UK driving licence and your own vehicle.


• Able to pass a full DBS government search for the clients work in Hospitals (I.E No criminal record).


• Excellent time keeping


• A good work ethos


• Presentable and polite manner as you will have client interaction.


• Able to work and add value to a team.

General Roles and Responsibilities:

• General labouring duties


• Collecting materials, keys.


• Assisting skilled/fully qualified trades


• Attending further training courses to boost knowledge.

In Return:

• 37.5 Hour Weeks


• Overtime available


• Training year one will be 8-hour days and �80�a day with two paid courses in painting and decorating.


• Training year two will be 8-hour days and �95 a day with two paid courses in either plumbing, tilling or carpentry.


• Training year three will be 8-hour days and �125 a day with an additional course in a specific trade.


• Year 4 will be 8-hour days and �150 a day.


• Payment via the CIS scheme.
