Our products are precision-engineered to withstand the harshest environmental conditions.From our modern manufacturing facilities in Aberdeen, Scotland, we support customers from prototype concept stage through to project management and maintenance.Objectives / ScopeHydro Group is looking to recruit a Trainee Materials Controller to who will be responsible for controlling the flow of materials, equipment, goods and supplies whilst providing support to various departments within the business. This individual will play a key role in supporting all stakeholders as the business is in an exciting growth period and successfully expands its services and capabilities.Main ResponsibilitiesKit and issue stock items to all departments as and when requiredLocate materials and follow up by updating systemsComplete daily cycle counts and raise any concerns with the line managerReceipt incoming deliveries and raise any queries with procurementComplete consumable walks for all departments while maintaining stock levelsCreate P.Os for consumable itemsPackage completed jobs and meet any customers requirementsLiaise with couriers / hauliers to arrange collection and delivery of materialsLiaise with customers on status of completed goods when requiredRaise commercial documentation such as commercial invoicesMaintain cleanliness of all stores work areasComply with any environmental responsibilities as identified by the GroupWork independently within the stores team to complete tasks and hit targetsMaintain the Group management behaviours practices and equal opportunity policyQualifications / ExperienceFull training providedSkillsComputer literacyNumeracy and accuracyGood communication skillsTime management and work ethicEager to learn
