Trainee Management Accountant

If you are interested in a career that will be both interesting and allow you to progress your skills, then read on!Company Benefits- 30K DOE, 4 Days Work Week, 20 Days Holiday Entitlement (5 weeks), Pension, Company Events, Free Parking, Development & Training (Further study paid by company)Trainee Management Accountant - Responsibilities include:Review and verify Supplier invoices and their accompanying payment requests to ensure compliance with Company policies and procedures.Prepare Invoice batches and posting them to the accounts payable system on a daily basis, to ensure payments are processed in time for the weekly deadlines.Prepare Supplier and Expenses payment runs for authorisation by Senior Management.Retrieve and match invoices to the Payment RegisterReconciliation of monthly supplier statements and resolving discrepancies.Respond to inquiries from Suppliers, Clients and Consultants of the status of their payments.Review and post Company Credit Card transactions.Trainee Management Accountant - Knowledge, Skills and Experience Desired:Knowledge of ERP/MRP Systems an advantageBe conversant with Sales, Purchase and General LedgersKnowledge and experience of SAGE 50 or equivalent Financial Accounting SystemAAT Qualified or degree level graduate.Possess a good understanding of MS Office including Excel and Outlook.Strong organisational & time management skills & the ability to prioritise a varied workload.Motivation to study an accounting qualification (CIMA/ACCA/ACA)Trainee Management Accountant - Schedule- Monday - Thursday 6:30 - 16:20If you do not meet all of the requirements for this position, still apply.
