The Role
As a junior member of the Special Damages team your role as a Claims Analyst would be to analyse data provided by case handlers to quantify any financial losses which have been incurred by clients because of an incident. This involves preparing detailed calculations in relation to a variety of heads of past and future loss and putting these calculations into a Schedule of Loss to file at court.
Key tasks will include…
- Reviewing all evidence in personal injury cases and establish if any financial losses incurred as a result of injury
- Compiling detailed quantum calculations, starting with simple past losses and progressing to more complex cases over time
- Communicating with fee earners, counsel and clients when necessary and explain how figures have been arrived at and to discuss the best way forward
- Attend any relevant case management/client meetings with support from team trainer

The Candidate
You will be a highly skilled and ambitious Analyst looking to play a key role as part of a talented and supportive team. Recent graduates or school/college leavers with confidence working with numbers, ideally with qualifications relating to maths, accountancy or similar, would be ideal.

- Excellent time management skills, with the ability to work towards different deadlines
