Trainee Engineer

Our client, is seeking to recruit a Trainee Engineer to join their busy team in Dagenham.The main focus of this role will be to effectively repair, replace and maintain roller shutters of all types to include sectional doors, folding shutters. fire and smoke curtains, manual and automatic doors- Full training given.Your duties will include:Attend and collect report/job sheets and instructions from your respective Manager, load your vehicle with the necessary products and fittings.To complete weekly stock requisition and submitted to your manager on Monday mornings.To notify the site agent of your intent to proceed with works and follow correct procedures.Adhering to all Safety related documentation for all maintenance activities.Review risk and method statements provided and ensure it is suitable to carry out the works safely.Maintain records of works completed and supporting processes.Inspect the completed works to ensure that it is fit for purpose and operates to specification.Completing the fitters report/job sheet, Rams (risk assessment Method statement) and your timesheet to your manager in a timely manner.This is a full-time, permanent role with the hours generally being 9:00am - 5.30pm (Monday to Friday), although that may change depending on the clients needs.Due to the nature of the role, you must have your own transport and a full UK driving licence.If you feel you have the required skills for this position, apply now!We currently have 4,082 live graduate jobs and we're adding more all the time.
