WE UNDERTAKE MECHANICAL AND ELECTRICAL MAINTENANCE CONTRACTS FOR BUILDING SERVICES, PLANT SYSTEMS AND EQUIPMENT. WE PROVIDE HEATING, VENTILATION, AIR CONDITIONING, PLUMBING, ELECTRICAL, POWER, LIGHTING AND CERTAIN SPECIALIST SERVICES. BTU PROVIDE PLANNED MAINTENANCE, RESPONSIVE REPAIRS AND FURTHER WORKS QUOTATIONS FOR OUR CUSTOMERS. OUR CUSTOMER BASE IS PRIVATE AND PUBLIC SECTOR THIS POSITION IS TO SUPPORT THE MAINTENANCE OFFICE TEAM WITH THE DELIVERY OF THE MAINTENANCE CONTRACTS AND ORGANISE THE ADMINISTRATION PROCEDURES THAT SUPPORT THE CONTRACTS



This is a trainee position, and the role is to support the successful delivery of planned and reactive mechanical and electrical maintenance works on specific key long term contracts, the role is to provide administrative support to the Contract Management Team and to ensure that the back-office processes remain organised and are delivered efficiently and to a high standard. With training and support the successful candidate will work towards a Contract Administrator position within the business. The ability to work well under pressure is essential. Contract administration duties will include.



1. Liaison with the contract manager, contract administrators and engineers.



2. Customer liaison, reporting feedback and communicating progress.



3. Raising planned maintenance jobs, responsive repair jobs, and quoted works.



4. Scheduling appointments.



5. Collaborating on work planning, procurement and with the credit control teams to close all works in progress jobs.



6. Administration of all works in progress.



7. Progress chasing parts.



8. Arranging appointments and liaison with customer sites and end users.



9. Liaising with our supply chain partners and coordinating appointments.



10. Updating reports and providing feedback electronically to our customer base





Experienced in Word, Excel, Outlook and preferably Sage. Strong verbal and written communication and customer service skills. Ability to work as part of a team and on their own. Strong time management skills and able to priorities workload within a busy office environment. Good data entry speed and accuracy. Ideally experienced within customer facing roles.



Comfortable in dealing directly with clients, representatives and customers and working within a busy office environment. Organised with an eye for detail and a confident and professional telephone manner. Eligible to work in UK without requiring employer sponsorship
