Administrator Trainee Insurance Executive
Location: Belfast City Centre. Modern
Offices.
Salary: A competitive starting salary of
£22500 which will increase as your skills develop plus an excellent range of
benefits, bonuses and rewards.
Hours: Monday
to Friday 09.00am to 5.00pm with 1 hour break.
Duration: Permanent
On
behalf of our client, a Global Insurance Services Provider, we are delighted to
be recruiting for their Trainee positions. This is an excellent opportunity for
an individual seeking a career journey. You will begin within an administrative
role and, through training, have the opportunity to progress to an Account
Manager. This comes along with industry recognised qualifications, your own
clients and a growing salary to match.
As
your knowledge and skills progress, you can expect to participate in more
complex insurance matters within the corporate and commercial departments.
This organisation have an established
training program for new employees, meaning that within a year there you can
expect to progress to an Account Manager (dependant upon your abilities).
You will need:
•Educated to at least A-level standard
•A desire to learn and progress within the
insurance industry.
•The ability to work in support of other
team colleagues.
•Ability to communicate effectively and
professionally.
•Ability to manage time, prioritise and
ensure that deadlines are met.
•Willingness to develop knowledge through
formal and informal training.
•Analytical and problem solving skills.
•Knowledge of Microsoft products or similar
software applications.

Duties:
•Provision of account support services for
clients.
•Maintenance of records, preparation of
forms/documents, verification of information and resolution of routine
problems.
•Provision of administrative support in
accordance with agreed procedures.
•Obtain claims information from Insurers.
•Collect data/statistics for inclusion in
market presentations.
•Working on premium allocation where
required.
•Preparation and issuance of invoices.
•Create and update relevant systems.
•Involvement with the solving of accounts
queries.
•Provide support in the overall servicing of
the client’s insurance programme.
