Our client is looking for a hard-working candidate to join their successful team, assisting in the day-to-day life science research around wellbeing and human behaviour. They have recently expanded and opened a new research facility, giving you the opportunity to join their friendly, eager team.
Duties and Responsibilities
To work as part of a team to ensure the maintenance of animal cages/tanks
Health checking of animals to ensure they are free from injury, disease, pain etc.
Assist senior staff with their roles as requested
Ensuring areas, surfaces and equipment are as clean and sterile as possible to prevent the introduction or spread of disease and infection
Person Specification
You must have previous experience working with animals, specifically rodents and aquatics
You must have knowledge of basic animal husbandry and welfare
