Trainee Accountant - Old Trafford

Candidates will be supported with time and funding to study towards a recognised Chartered Accountancy qualification, along with mentoring from more senior qualified accountants in the team.You will be responsible for:* Assisting the Finance manager with producing management accounts and budgets* Posting of invoices* Bank reconciliations* Maintaining Sage accounts and internal controls* Liaising between various departments and working with our customers* Co-ordinating the purchase ledger and rent accounting systems* Preparing payments* Posting journals and general office duties* Including ICT support and administrationEssential qualities include:* Must have a 2:1 or above in Accountancy / Maths / Economics / Business* Proficient spreadsheet and ICT skills* Strong numeracy, literacy and accuracy skills* Ability to work to tight deadlines* Good written and oral communication skills* Commitment to high standards of service delivery* A professional approach and can-do attitudeBenefits:* Salary £18k* Study support package* 22 days leave plus 3 days concessionary* 36 hour working week* Flexible working hours* 8.5% defined contribution pension schemeIf you are interested in this role please contact John Devlin at Agility ResourcingApply for this job
