Traffic Manager Utilities – High Speed Rail Main Works

Skills set: Strong communication skills, stakeholder management and highly organised.

Job location: Willesden, London with travel to sites.  

Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8 hrs per day

Contract: Full-time

 

The Role:

Manage the interface between SCS and TfL, ensure that the TfL requirements under the BlueBook process are met in a timely manner. Coordinate and manage any requirements for traffic modelling and network impact assessments to determine the mitigation implemented for TfL surface operations and assets. Assist in providing information and writing of environmental compliance in accordance to the High Speed Rail env. statement.

Undertake compliance audits/reviews of planned, live and completed works.

Key responsibilities:


  • Interface management of key internal stakeholders.
  • Management of existing processes and procedures.
  • Stakeholder management of Transport for London to gain approval for the proposed works.
  • Undertake audits/compliance checks on planned, live and completed works.
  • Assist with the creation of Environmental compliance in accordance with the High Speed Rail Env. Statement.
  • Assist in the creation of any required departure from Env. Statement papers.
  • Assist in the instruction of traffic modelling.
  • Review traffic modelling outputs and present findings to Highway Authorities.
  • Assist where required in the planning of works.
