Cardiff £12.00 per hour Monday - Friday 2pm - 10pm
6 months - with potential to extend Job Purpose To safely direct/control traffic movements into the Waste Transfer Station and Recycling Centre Duties and Responsibilities
* The management of site traffic ensuring safe and efficient vehicle and plant movements. Using mechanical, electronic, and manual tools/equipment.
* To provide cover for the weighbridge as and when required.
* Assisting site users with the disposal, treatment, and transfer of wastes.
* General labouring and manually handling bulky items.
* Site cleansing and general daily maintenance of equipment.
* The completion of maintenance checks for relevant equipment as required. The completion of necessary paperwork relating to defect reporting and maintenance checks.
* Operating and maintaining equipment in such a manner as not to cause harm to others or negligent damage to Council property. Essential
