Key Responsibilities:Lead the development and execution of trading strategies within the power markets.Manage a team of traders, providing guidance and support to optimize trading performance.Analyze market trends and developments to inform trading decisions and maximize profitability.Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment with overall business objectives.Develop and maintain relationships with external partners and counterparties.Utilize battery optimization techniques to enhance trading outcomes and mitigate risk.Stay abreast of regulatory changes and market dynamics affecting energy trading activities.Qualifications and Experience:Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., finance, economics, engineering).Familiarity with battery optimization techniques and their application in energy markets.Extensive experience in power trading, with a proven track record of success.Strong understanding of intraday, day ahead/shift markets and trading mechanisms.Experience managing a team of traders, with demonstrated leadership abilities.Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams.Adaptability and resilience in a fast-paced and dynamic trading environment.
