Job Description
We’re currently looking to hire a Trade Services Analyst to join our Trade Services team based in Cardiff.
As Trade Services Analyst you’ll complete all retained trade service activities (incl. Trade Services, Corporate Actions and Proxy Voting) in line with internal and external market deadlines, policies, procedures and proactively partner with outsource provider to ensure delivery of operational service targets
What you'll be doing
Making sure completion of daily trade retained services / tasks for all asset types are managed effectively and are in line with market and regulatory deadlines.
Being proactive in working with LGIM stakeholders, Outsource Providers, and 3rd Parties to ensure all asset services activities are managed
Working in partnership and collaboration with team members and outsourced provider to ensure daily tasks are completed in line with agreed service standards and deadlines (incl. accuracy, timeliness, and client service measures)
Assisting the outsource provider with agreed retained service delivery for the respective service area
Monitoring the daily & weekly service delivery KPI / KRIs and escalate issues accordingly
Identifying control weaknesses relating to trade services operating model and recommending and implementing procedural and process change
Managing operational risk and issues within team and outsourced provider, regularly reviewing and identifying further opportunities for risk mitigation
Engaging secondary service recipients (Client Service, Investments, and other Operational Teams) to ensure the service delivery is achieving standards for today and future business levels
Qualifications
Demonstrate experience of the asset management industry or experience relevant to role and activities performed
You’ll be Client focussed and able to liaise with all levels of seniority internally and externally
Knowledge in the outsourced service area covering operational service delivery knowledge and client expectations
Flexible and able to adapt to changes in the process and procedures.
Customer oriented skills to understand service recipient needs and expectations.
Excellent presentation, interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to relay information clearly and concisely in both written and verbal communications
