With a strong focus on innovation and client satisfaction, the firm prides itself on delivering exceptional legal services to a diverse range of clients.The firm is currently seeking a dynamic and ambitious Trade Mark Attorney to join the team based in Essex. This role presents an exciting opportunity for a part-qualified to newly qualified attorney to contribute to the firm's continued success and growth.Key Responsibilities:
Conducting trade mark searches and advising clients on availability and registrability of trade marksDrafting and filing trade mark applicationsHandling prosecution matters, including responding to examination reports and oppositionsProviding strategic advice on trade mark protection and enforcementConducting trade mark portfolio management, including renewals and maintenanceAssisting with contentious matters, including trade mark oppositions, cancellations, and enforcement actions
Requirements:
Part-qualified to newly qualified Trade Mark AttorneyStrong academic background in law, preferably with a focus on intellectual propertyExperience in handling trade mark matters, either gained through previous legal roles or during trainingExcellent communication and client-facing skillsAbility to work collaboratively within a team environmentCommercial awareness and the ability to provide strategic advice to clients
