Job title: Traction and Rolling Stock Mobile Maintenance Fitter
Job location: Based in Stoke on Trent but travel to North Wales and Lancashire using company vehicle
Salary: �25,309 plus �25 per night mobile allowance if staying away. Travel and accommodation fully paid for.
Overtime available at additional rate
Benefits: Excellent Benefits Package, to include enhanced pension and 33 days pa leave allowance
Shifts: Monday to Thursday, 4-day week.
Hours per week: 36 hours per week plus overtime where necessary
Duration: Contract to permanent
Start date: ASAP

Position Summary
A rare and exciting opportunity for an experienced maintenance or motor mechanic to join the mobile team based in Stoke but with travel using a company vehicle to Clitheroe in Lancashire and Padeswood in north Wales when required.
You will be able to show an aptitude for undertaking numerous responsibilities as this is a varied role which will include the full strip, refurbishment and rebuild of Rolling Stock Rail Wagons and their associate bogies, axles and wheel sets.
This is an excellent opportunity to gain technical access in to the Rail / Rolling Stock Industry whilst working for a highly regarded, World Leading Manufacturer of Rolling Stock Freight Vehicles.
Person Profile/Experience:

If you are comfortable in working with tooling, machine operation and not phased around working within a busy manufacturing environment and looking for a career opportunity then contact us.
Having a great work ethic and attitude to work is what we are looking for, but candidates will need a minimum of a NVQ level 1 but ideally a NVQ level 2 or equivalent in a relevant engineering subject.
Previous experience working on rail, HGV or PSV would be advantageous.
