Town Planner Winchester, UK Private Consultancy £30,000 - £35,000 - DOE
Are you a recent graduate with a passion for planning and a desire to contribute to exciting projects?
Carrington West has partnered with a leading private consultancy, which is seeking a motivated and ambitious Planner with at least 4-5 years of experience to join their dynamic team in Winchester. This is a fantastic opportunity to build on your foundation of planning knowledge while enjoying the flexibility of hybrid working, with three days a week in our modern office.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Town Planner, you will have the opportunity to:
·Project Support: Assist in the planning and execution of a variety of projects under the guidance of experienced planners.
·Research and Analysis: Conduct research and data analysis to contribute valuable insights to planning projects.
·Client Interaction: Collaborate with clients to gather information, address queries, and provide updates on project progress.
·Documentation: Prepare planning reports, presentations, and other documentation to support project deliverables.
·Team Collaboration: Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to learn and contribute to the successful delivery of projects.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:
·Relevant Degree: A degree in Town Planning or a related field.
·Minimum 4-5 years Experience: A minimum of 4-5 years of practical experience in a planning role, preferably within a consultancy setting.
·Knowledge of Planning Legislation: Familiarity with UK planning policies and legislation.
·Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills.
·Team Player: A collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively within a team.
·Adaptability: Ability to adapt to new challenges and learn quickly in a dynamic environment.
·Flexibility: Open to hybrid working, with a minimum of three days per week in our Winchester office.
