We are ambitious for the Borough and our residents, and we aim to deliver a first-class community safety service.This role is one where a person with excellent communication skills, possessing a calm manner with the ability to work with people from different backgrounds, cultures and ages will excel.We offer quality supervision, training, and a range of opportunities to develop in the role. Experience of enforcement or regulatory work is useful; however it is not essential. You will undergo a comprehensive training programme and you will be mentored through your probation period.The RoleTo be part of a service of uniformed officers who are deployed to work alongside various partners that support the Community Safety Partnership,Provide a responsive service, including using effective links to a range of support services but also take enforcement action where proportionate and necessary.Undertake this range of work across the entire borough in which the work of individual teams within the service, are also aligned to specific localities to provide focussed support and being the face of the service locally.Develop and maintain strong working partnerships with the Metropolitan Police, Social Housing Providers and others.To be accredited officers under the Community Safety Accreditation Scheme (CSAS) using designated powers from the Metropolitan Police.This role requires staff to successfully pass the Metropolitan Police Non-Police Personnel Vetting and the Community Safety Accreditation Scheme (CSAS) powers.
