Toolroom Supervisor

This global business of 500 people onsite is a Tier 1 supplier in the automotive industry who supply wingmirrors and internal vision systems for the likes of Toyota, JLR, Nissan, Volvo and some Mclaren vehicles. This company are looking for a Toolroom Supervisor to indicate the general level of responsibility of the post.
Responsibilities:�

• To manage and oversee the time, attendance and wellbeing of all Toolroom personnel


• To manage all Toolroom staff, including but not limited to PBO setting and performance monitoring


• To control the day to day loading of work to the Toolmakers and Machinists


• To keep all tooling jobs on track and within agreed timescales


• Responsible for the MAPEX TPM schedule�


• Responsible for quoting Internal tooling and development jobs


• To lead and assist in Toolroom improvement activitie

Experience Required:

• Full apprenticeship or time served as Toolmaker


• All toolmaking and development skills�


• Toolmaking processes


• CNC knowledge�


• Moulding & Processes
