TOOLMAKER - PORTSMOUTH

£40,000 + 27 days AL + Bank Holidays, Flexible working, Discounted RAC cover, Enhanced Pension Scheme.

Due to ongoing success and company expansion, our client, a specialist manufacturing company are looking to add to their Production team, with a talented Toolmaker joining the company.

We are looking for an experienced Toolmaker. If you're a driven & highly motivated person wishing to craft out a successful and rewarding future in what is a truly unique environment, this could be the role for you. You will be working on a variety of projects and involved with different areas, making this a varied and rewarding role.

THE ROLE:

  • Manufacture, repair and modify injection mould tools.
  • Manufacture of jigs and fixtures.
  • Work closely with mould shop setters & supervisors.
  • Work on injection moulds whilst still in machine.
  • Assist with the development of tooling processes & preventative maintenance.
  • Comply with the schedule and maintenance plan.
  • Completion of paperwork based activities.
  • Maintain and look after Toolroom equipment.

THE PERSON:

  • Apprenticeship trained or Time served.
  • Experience working in a busy Toolroom environment.
  • Milling and Turning experience.
  • Team player.
  • Current RTW in the UK.
