Tool Setter

Hello,

My client in Ashford is looking for a Tool Setter due to expansion.

Reporting To - Production Manager/ production assistant

Main purpose:

• To be able to set condition and optimise tools


• Tool trials


• To ensure quality standards are maintained

Duties & Responsibilities:

• To perform tool changes


• To be able to clean, spray tools� after production run is finished


• To monitor and maintain� quality levels and standards


• To strip and clean tools and gas vents


• To be able to set up run after tool change


• To ensure the quality of 1st off products and ensure that this is� registered with QA department


• To maintain and optimize machine parameters� throughout the production


• To be able to resolve production and tooling issues


• To be able to� changed heater and other small machine maintenance


• To ensure that tools allocated to machine capabilities


• To understand� the different materials


• To record and keep a record of setting on jobs


• To record and maintain proper records on oil changes or machine problems


• To be able to estimate cycle times on jobs


• To cover to� charge hands in the event of sickness or holidays


• To be� able to communicate� with all departments.

To be able to perform from time to time tasks required by management

Location: Ashford

Salary: �12.50 hr
