Tool Maker

Vibe Recruit are working with a well-established manufacturing company within the Bridgend area. We are currently looking for an experienced toolmaker who has previously worked with sheet metal. Initially this will be a temporary role with the potential of a permanent role for the right candidate.

Role

• Provide tool repairs as directed.
• Provide tool and equipment maintenance as directed.
• Ensure completion of relevant paperwork.
• Undertake fault analysis when required.
• Undertake arc welding tasks as required.
• Ensure the completion of re-drawing in a timely manner.
• Follow health and safety rules and responsibilities.

Requirement

• Ability to understand engineering drawings.
• Ability to understand engineering drawings.
• Experience prepping and finishing of sheet metal products.
• Ability to set up and operator various metal processing machines.
• Experience with a verity of welding processes.
• Experience as a tool maker.
• Experience with numerical control machines.
• Experience within a workshop environment.

Schedule

• Mornings, 6am - 2pm (Monday to Friday) Paid at �15.96
• Afternoons, 2pm - 10pm (Monday to Friday) Paid at �17.12

Overtime is also available.
