Tig Welder - Aluminium

Our engineering client is looking for a specialist aluminium TIG welder to work in their Lancing manufacturing facility.

Gauges to be welded vary from 1.2 mm up to 4.0 mm, aluminium sheet material, using the TIG welding process (GTAW).

Salary would be dependent on results from an in house welding test and experience. It is therefore important that you could demonstrate during a weld test that you could produce quality welds on thin gauge aluminium using the TIG welding process.

There is the chance to progress to a higher pay rate once you are fully experienced and producing work of the highest quality.

The working hours are Monday to Thursday 08:00 to 17:00 and Friday 08:00 to 16:30, so a 42 hour basic week, with overtime usually available up to10 hours per week.
