Spire Cambridge Lea are looking for a Theatre Administrator to join their warm and friendly team on a permanent basis.

The Cambridge Lea runs a busy Operating Department that requires well motivated and effective support at every level. The purpose of the post is to provide effective administration support to the theatre department, ensure the highest standards of patient care and to drive performance.
Duties and responsibilities:
Complete data entry for the National Joint Registry.
Complete patient surgical site surveillance data entry.
Assist clinical staff in data entry for audits and monitor audit completion, identifying when audits are at risk of not being completed on time and escalating this to the relevant team leader.
Cover ordering of lens and breast implants when relevant team leaders are away, as part of agreed stores processes.
Compile requirements from booking forms, ensuring orders are made in good time and liaising with consultants when preferred implants are not available.
Assist the Theatre Manager/Deputy Theatre Manager with the preparation and administration of the off duty to provide a comprehensive and accurate off duty for the wider clinical team.
Compile monthly theatre update prior to departmental meetings, including.
Datix report
AMAT
Complaints
Other data included in the generic departmental meeting agenda.
Record minutes of departmental meetings and circulate/post as required.
Post weekly Rapid Response report.
Keep theatre governance board/folder up to date, including 48-hour flashes, learning from complaints, incidents, etc
Archiving theatre data such as allocation sheets, rosters and registers and recording its location
Keep annual leave and TOIL trackers up to date.
Populate the annual leave diary/calendar with approved requests.
Other administrative tasks which may arise during the normal course of business.
Emptying the Inbox to Assist the coordinator due to the growth of the Coordinator role also with the implementation of HMS this will be essential to bookings being processed efficiently especially for 7 day bookings
Time sheet checking with the role out of online timesheets
CSSD Admin tasks
Support all theatre staff in the reporting of faulty equipment or issues affecting the day to day running of the theatres using the “Pirana” system for reporting.
Build effective working relationships throughout the hospital.
Facilitate communication that will benefit the needs and experience of our patients including incident reporting, Datix, troubleshooting and problem solving
Who we are looking for:
Good telephone and communication skills
Good PC Skills
Knowledge of SAP (training will be given in the areas required for theatre)
Knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook,
Training will be given as some duties in Excel are data input only
Be thorough in all aspects of the role taking pride in all that you do, accuracy is key.
Be willing and eager to learn, be open to and, take a proactive flexible approach to change to achieve the best possible outcomes for the department.
Contribute ideas to that change if there may be a better, more efficient way of working.

Shifts between: 7.30am and latest finish 6:00pm
