Testing Operative

We are currently recruiting for a Testing Operative to join a UK leading company, working within it's modern manufacturing headquarters in Stafford. This position offers full time hours, and carries consistent long-term work. It is a temp to perm opportunity.

Testing Operative job details:

• Hours are 07:00 to 15:45, Monday to Friday with a 15-minute break in the morning and 30-minute lunch break. 40hrs per week.


• �11.75ph pay rate


• Job specific training is provided


• The facility has a fully equipped kitchen area for break times.


• 25 days holiday plus bank holidays

Testing Operative key job duties:

• Responsible for pre-test, testing procedures, post-test work, and assist with the final assembly of the product.


• Follow in-house specific test procedures.


• Use of testing software and tools.


• Working alongside the Quality and R&D departments you will be responsible for the accurate recording of faults for daily analysis to improve first time pass rates.


• Preparing specific documentation and completing test records accurately.


• Take onboard the in-depth training and implement into the role


• Reporting directly to the Production Supervisor


• Comply with healthy and safety rules at all times

Testing Operative person specification:

• Previous experience in engineering: testing, quality assurance/inspection, product development, fault diagnosing roles would be ideal


• Electrical/fault finding experience is also ideal


• You must be able to demonstrate an aptitude for problem solving with an eye for detail. This is critical to the role.


• You must hold a good level of English (written / verbal)


• Must have good communication skills
