Jonothan Bosworth Recruitment Specialists are currently looking for an IT Tester to support a key client, based near Camden, in London, as they continue to undertake a major IT transformation project.
This is a great opportunity as our client continues to embark on an exciting journey, which has seen a multi-million-pound budget approved to revamp all IT related products, platforms and solutions. THE BASICS: The initial requirement revolves around a Windows 10 Migration project, which will include the development, production and the running of test scripts for business-critical applications and new Windows features, as well as running user acceptance tests across our clients’ environment. THE PRE-REQUISITES: Testers who have a thorough understanding of test processes; able to identify areas for process improvement, build strong productive customer focused relationships across the business and produce high quality documentation such as test scripts and test results should apply. You will be working closely with the Development, Support & Project teams throughout the project lifecycle to ensure that the testing is aligned to requirements and you will be tasked with writing and reviewing technical test scripts and user acceptance testing scripts Individuals who can resolve any packaging issues, perform UAT with business users, capture and report defects; communicate regularly with the project team in regular progress/status reviews; are able to work well with all stakeholders and external partners and vendors across several geographies are likely to receive an immediate interview request. THE TECHNICAL STUFF: Working knowledge of Windows 10 migration application testing. Testing office migration experience spanning 2003 to 2010 and 2016. Conducting targeted testing of all the client’s packaged applications. Provide input into test completion reports and defect summaries at the end of each test phase. Exposure to Microsoft Application Virtualisation (AppV). Exposure to Aces Databases. Up to date with the global Windows 10 framework. Ability to liaise with suppliers to ensure application(s) created by the business is software compatible. 5 years + professional experience. ISTQB Foundation (or equivalent) certification level would be a benefit.
