Job role: Test Technician
Salary: £25,(Apply online only)-£48,(Apply online only) DOE
Location: Silverstone, Northamptonshire 
Hours: 06:00-14:00 or 13:00-21:00 Mon-Fri
Job Type: Full Time, Permanent

The Role:


  • Maintaining the testing equipment in the test laboratory
  • Ensuring all test work is performed correctly, to the correct standard and within a timely manner.

    • Reporting any inconsistencies or discrepancies in any finding of equipment or procedures.
    • Testing electrical components within the Automotive and Motorsport industries.
    • Collaborate with the engineering manager to ensure smooth production.
    • Ensuring records of all test results received as required by adhering to ISO 17025 and are recorded correctly.


The Requirements:


  • Proven electrical capabilities (essential)
  • Proven battery testing knowledge (essential)
  • Relevant electrical Qualifications (City & Guilds/NVQ’s/17th/18th edition) - essential
  • In depth understanding of fault finding/diagnostics on Electrical components
  • Working within Electrical test chambers (Advantageous)
  •  Minimum 2 years’ worth of experience as an electrical Engineer (Advantageous)
  • Qualified Electrician (Advantageous)
