Test Technician

We are currently looking for a Test Technician to work a fortnightly rolling shift pattern (1 week Days (4 days), 1 week Nights (3 nights) for a leading manufacturing company based in Southampton.  

The Test Technician will be working within the test area of the business, carrying out various optical and mechanical measurements using dedicated test equipment, full training provided.

Day to Day Test Technician Duties:

• Taking optical and geometric measurements

• Fibre splicing

• Logging results

• Operating proof test machines

• Complying with written procedures and instructions 

The ideal person will have a minimum of 5 GCSE's Grade C or above including Maths and English, have good attention to detail, high accuracy and manual dexterity and keen to learn new skills. 

Any previous test lab or quality environment working experience would be a major advantage.

Salary:

£30000 - £32000  - includes a 20% shift allowance
