Test Technician

Either having worked in product or material testing or having recently graduate with a Engineering Degree or HNC/HND. You will be wanting to work in a hands-on engineering job.

You Responsibilities In The Test Technician Job

• Efficiently and safely operate test rig as the lead operator following all inhouse standards and adhering to H&S
• Support the management of both test and customer schedules, including liaising with customers and approval authorities
• Set up tests in compliance with relevant standards and customer protocols.
• Support Preventative Maintenance programs while reporting equipment/performance issues.
• Analyse test results using appropriate software.
• Prepare test reports following relevant standards.
• Professionally present test results to customers, standards authorities, and other parties
• Develop a deep understanding of customer and standards authority quality expectations.

Personal Qualities, Experience And Education Required For The Test Technician Job

You will represent the company professionally in customer interactions. All the while supporting engaging in the company’s continuous improvement and 5S activities. You will have a positive and engaging approach to all that you do. Specifically, you will have exemplary attention to detail essential for work in a test environment.

You will hold an HNC/HND or degree in Engineering or equivalent. Possibly with several years in an engineering work environment. You will be able to manage you own time and work while also being hands on with engineering challenges. Furthermore, the ability to read and produce CAD drawing could be an advantage.
