Contechs are recruiting on behalf of their client who are known for manufacturing luxury hand-crafted motorcycles. They are looking for Test Engineer to join their expanding team on a Contract basis. The role will be based in Solihull

Essential Criteria:

• Experience as a motorcycle test engineer
• Degree educated in a relevant Engineering or Science background or equivalent experience.
• Experience of test facility operations.
• Awareness of health and safety obligations in an industrial environment.
• Computer literacy, including Microsoft Office competency, to produce plans, presentations and graphs.
• Good communication skills, both within immediate team and with other departments

Nice to Have Criteria:

• Experience utilising mechatronic control systems to support test activity.
• Experience executing component & sub-system level test activities according to defined test procedures.
• Knowledge of instrumentation calibration processes.
• Awareness of programming/scripting languages.
• Awareness of risk assessment, COSHH and compliance management systems
• Ability to acquire and interpret data utilising data acquisition tools.
• The ability to validate, prepare and read engineering documents and technical reports.
• General and practical understanding of physical mechanical systems.

Additional Information:

• Report writing and present Results to satisfy Project requirements.
• Shift work to support business needs and/or working off site.
• To be aware and observant of Health & Safety policy of the company.
