Test Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Test Engineer to join our Engineering team. As a Test Engineer, you will be responsible for the development of products through thorough testing and analysis. You will collaborate with the design and project teams to develop and execute test plans, identify defects, and provide recommendations for improvements. The role is offered with a salary from �35 - �50K depending on what you can bring to the role

Duties:

- Plan, setup and execute tests in the laboratory

- Functional tests of mechanical components, cables, fittings, sensors etc

- Functional tests of installation equipment

- Managing the test rigs

- Modify test rigs according to requirements

- Design jigs and fixtures for the test rigs

- Conduct basic analysis and produce test reports

- Work closely with the design team and suggest improvements based on test results

Experience:

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar

- Proven experience as a Test Engineer or similar role

- Water industry experience (ideal but not essential)

- Ability to write clear and concise test plans, test cases, and defect reports
