As a Test Development Engineer, you will be pivotal in designing and developing state-of-the-art test systems to ensure the highest performance and quality standards for our client's cutting-edge products. Key Responsibilities for the Test Development Engineer:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop comprehensive test plans and strategies
Design and implement advanced test hardware and software solutions
Optimize testing methodologies to enhance efficiency, yield, and cost-effectiveness
Troubleshoot and resolve complex testing issues, working closely with product and design engineers
Provide technical support and guidance to production teams at various stages of the development process
Contribute to the creation and maintenance of thorough documentation and test procedures
Analyze and interpret test data to provide valuable insights to stakeholders
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in semiconductor testing
Requirements for the Test Development Engineer:
Extensive experience in semiconductor testing, including bench testing and ATE production system development
Proven track record of working with OSAT engineers in high-volume production environments
Strong understanding of semiconductor testing processes, including wafer and package-level testing
Proficiency in analog and mixed-signal testing, with experience in Sigma Delta ADC converters, LDO, and precision band-gap voltage reference
Familiarity with JTAG, SCAN, MBIST, IDDQ, Flash, and other digital circuit testing concepts
Hands-on experience with Teradyne mixed-signal testers (J750HD, uFlex) or similar equipment
Knowledge of RF testing and embedded microprocessor testing is highly desirable
Expertise in developing and implementing parametric trim solutions such as OTP, Flash, or Laser cut trims
Excellent problem-solving skills and a methodical approach to engineering challenges
Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, VBA, C, or C#
Familiarity with Windows or Linux operating systems and Microsoft Office software
Comfortable with using revision control software like Subversion in test program development
Proficient in using test data processing software tools such as Galaxy Examinator, SAS Jump, SEDANA, or similar
Ability to develop test scripts for bench testing automation
