Test & Commissioning Engineer

Our client is a leading engineering company that offer a superb working environment and culture. They are looking for a Test & Commissioning Engineer to join their team.

Main responsibilities:

As a Test & Commissioning Technician, you will demonstrate a willingness to learn and to accept responsibility. You must demonstrate the ability to work well in a team, encouraging co-operation in others but also be able to work independently when required.

With adequate training you will be responsible for conducting product testing and site commissioning activities remote and at customer sites worldwide in accordance with procedures, specifications, and regulations ensuring the successful handover of equipment to the customers. This will include both electrical and mechanical aspects of testing, cold and hot commissioning of various gas turbine packages and associated equipment validating equipment and ensuring compliance with customer requirements.

Have a flexible attitude towards working location and working hours, global travel to client sites as and when required to meet agreed deadlines. You will be expected to travel overseas to commission products on-site and support customer site acceptance tests

Working with the Test, Installation & Commissioning Manager to prepare and then to diligently follow detailed Test & Commissioning schedules and programmes.

Be responsible for the accurate documentation of test results, collating them into respective databases and/or communication to respective parties promptly.

Qualifications and Skills

Knowledge and experience in the test and commissioning of gas turbine packages and installations.

PLC control code understanding (Allen Bradley RS Logix is preferred)

SCADA understanding (Wonderware preferred)

Multi-disciplined qualified engineer, HNC/HND or degree in an engineering discipline, or equivalent experience

Salary - �30,000-�40,000 DOE
