Test Analyst

Job DescriptionWork for a high profile telecoms company as a Test Analyst on an initial 6 month contract.The Test Analyst role ensures that software meets quality standards, aligns with business requirements, and functions as expected in real-world scenarios while balancing the business needs, risk, and time available.This role is for technical and analytical applicants to develop and maintain both manual and automated test cases, Working closely with the Test Manager, developers, IT Ops and project teams to test.Essential Skills Experience (technical, managerial, industry) Strong background in manual and automated testing and test principles.A solid understanding of test and defect management using tools such as Azure / JIRA.Proven experience of using IDEs (Visual Studio/Android Studio, Xcode) for creating and maintaining automation test suites in a dot .net framework using Selenium WebDriver, C# and SpecFlow using BDD.Experience of testing Restful APIs using products such as Postman / SoapUI.DesirableUnderstanding of JSON, HTML, and XML.Understanding of Continuous integration, Continuous delivery, and the role of DevOps
