Territory Sales Manager
We are recruiting for a Territory Sales Manager for a manufacturer and global leader in their field. Covering the Scotland and North of England region you'll be responsible for coordinating the implementation of a company's strategic sales and marketing plans in an assigned territory. The role will require 50% selling time derived from leads generated via central marketing activity and 50% of selling time from leads derived by via self-generated activity to new/new customers and upsell/cross sell to existing customers within the territory.
As a Territory Sales Manager, you will need to have/be:
- Previous sales experience is essential
- Ability to develop sales strategies and use performance metrics.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Strong negotiation skills
- Be able to close deals and overcome objections.
- Positive 'can do' attitude.
- Must be able to use own initiative and make decisions within a defined limit of authority
- Must be able to work automatously.
- Any previous training/presenting skills would be desirable
- Knowledge within the Health and Safety and Fire Safety field would be highly desirable.

- Salary: OTE of up to £48, 000
- Working Hours: 37.5 hours Monday - Friday

Role of Territory Sales Manager:
- Developing territory business plans that will grow the business.
- Developing sales and business development strategies
- Developing and maintaining customer relationships
- Generating and following up quotations and reports
- Communicating new product developments to prospective and existing customers
- Close liaison with customer services and marketing and providing regular feedback to help ECI continually improve.
- Providing management with feedback through monthly, quarterly reports
- Monitoring and analysing market trends to identify new opportunities.
- Maintaining accurate records of all sales activities via CRM
- Assess sales performance according to KPI's.
- Recommending improvements to sales processes and strategies
- Participate in Industry or promotional events e.g trade shows) to cultivate customer relationships.
