This advertiser has chosen not to accept applicants from your region. The TerritoryAccount Manager is responsible for all sales activities from leadgeneration through close in assigned territory. Develops andimplements agreed upon territory sales plan which will meet bothpersonal quota and business goals of expanding customer base in theterritory. Works in conjunction with presales engineering and salessupport teams for the achievement of customer satisfaction, accountacquisition, revenue generation, and long-term account goals in linewith company vision and values. This individual will be responsiblefor selling PPT products & services to customers in Scotland from ourLondon office, therefore the ideal candidate will have previousexperience working on the Scottish Market.What you’llbe doing:Responsible for the sales of hardwareand/or maintenance and infrastructure solutions to customers based inScotlandDemonstrates technical selling skills and offeringknowledge to effectively prospect, qualify, develop and close newbusiness.Responsible for independently managing assignedsales territory.Demonstrates effective sales strategies andmanages sales cycle across prospect base and service offerings, withability to consummate sales transactions within expected timelines.Demonstrates successful use of discretion and independentjudgment to negotiate deal terms consistent within company pricing,service and other guidelines.Is a “closer”, meaning that theTerritory Account Manager demonstrates the ability to use creativity,independent judgment, selling skills (including accessing companyresources) and discretion to close transactions within companypricing, service delivery and other guidelines.Developsannual sales plan for presentation to and approval by Director,Territory Sales, which details activities to follow during the fiscalyear to enable the Territory Account Manager to meet or exceed salesquota.Complete understanding of competitive landscape,pricing, and proposal models.Demonstrates the ability toindependently carry on a business conversation with businessinfluencers and decision makers.Maximizes all opportunitiesin the process of closing a sale resulting in the taking of marketshare from competitors.Sells, consults and makesrecommendations to prospects and clients of the various solutions thecompany offers to their business issues.Develops a databaseof qualified leads in CRM through referrals, telephone canvassing,cold calling on prospects, direct mail, email, and networking.Assists in the implementation of company marketing plans interritory as needed.Responsible for sourcing and developingclient relationships and referrals.Demonstrates the abilityto gather and submit detailed qualifying information for pricing andpresentation of solutions to identified prospects.Maintainsaccurate records of all sales and prospecting activities includingsales calls, presentations, closed sales, and follow-up activitieswithin their assigned territory, including the use of CRM andMicrosoft Outlook to maintain accurate records to maximize territorypotential.Adheres to all company policies, procedures andbusiness ethics codes.Actively participates and contributesin training and educational programs offered to company employees.Routinely assesses time management effectiveness andaddresses opportunities to operate more efficiently and effectively.Maintains regular contact with all clients in the market areato ensure high levels of client satisfaction and retention.Demonstrates ability to interact and cooperate with allcompany employees.Builds trust, values others, communicateseffectively, drives execution, fosters innovation, focuses on thecustomer, collaborates with others, solves problems creatively anddemonstrates high integrity.Maintains professional internaland external relationships that meet company core values.Proactively establishes and maintains effective working teamrelationships with all support departments.Other duties asassigned.What we’re looking for:Successful completion of PPT Business DevelopmentRepresentative training program or 3-15 years’ experience in sales ofhardware or maintenance agreements to middle market firms orequivalent experience.Experience selling on the ScottishMarketAbility to independently manage sales territory and plan tomeet or exceed sales quotas.Demonstrated goal attainmenttrack record over plan year and or training application period.
